Custom made wooden crates
and cases for shipping commercial cargo

D- Crates are often made to order.
They are made of sturdy plywood sheets,
built on top of a pallet-type base.
This allows space underneath so
the high-low forks can slide underneath
and lift up the freight.

Bear in mind that they still need
to fit into a standard ocean shipping container.

Non-standard Modalities

Non-containerizeable freight would
need to move as "break-bulk" cargo,
which is another modality used in shipping.

The capability of a ship varies
from vessel to vessel.

Some ships can accomodate
Roll-on/Roll off, others Lift-on/Lift off.

Be sure of what your shipping rate
includes and excludes.

Origin and destination services refer to
any physical work done to cargo
before or after actual loading onto a ship.

Cost: The terms and conditions for shipping as used by the steamship line and/or air carrier selected, govern all rates.

Sometimes, a rate structure can appear complex.
Destinations vary from client to client, so the vendors and carriers will likewise vary.

If unsure about how things work,
we can put you in direct contact
with the air/ocean carriers
and/or forwarder group selected
for your particular shipment.

We work transparently with you to get the job done.

E- Heavy duty high-lows and fork lifts
are able to load crates
into an ocean shipping container
with relative ease.

Its best to plan things ahead,
to optimize space inside the container.

Pictured here, crates were made
so they can easily stack
one on top of another
within the ocean shipping container.

Small objects can be Palletized

Here we see a small engine,
packing in plastic bubble wrap
and strapped securely to a pallet.

straps are used to secure goods onto the pallets

Ready for safe transport.
More cost effective than crating.

Some pallets can be obtained
from local stores...
simply by asking nicely.
